It is oh so easy to let the expectations of this world and the standards of society affect us and our lives. It's that uncomfortable knot you get in your stomach when your heart starts beating faster, and all you want to do is run and get away. It is a daily battle for me, and this is my constant prayer as I cling to God and trust in his promises for me.
"We need to be seeking HIM. Letting HIM guide us. Living HIS life for us. Our future should be in HIS hands because HE should be our future."
We often times question why we do what we do as christians. What's the whole purpose of it? There's a lot more to it than this, and an endless list of reasons, but our God is PERFECT and we are created in his image as perfect beings yet sin has gotten in the way. So what do we do?
